What areas do you cover ?


I cover the Chesterfield area including Bolsover, Dronfield, Tupton, Clay Cross, Staveley etc. Please note lessons may need to be 1.5 hours long to allow time to practice in Chesterfield if living on the outskirts.




Do you do block booking ?


Yes I do. There is a discount of £20 when booking a course of 10 hours and paying upfront.




How do I pay for lessons ?


Payment is made at the time of the lesson. I accept payment by cash or card or by bank transfer 24 hours before.




How many lessons will I need ?


The national average is 45 hours. This will vary from pupil to pupil. Factors include, taking regular lessons, private practice, previous experience, practical ability etc. I will encourage you to learn and develop your skills at a pace appropriate to you.




What do I need to do before starting to drive ?


You must be 17 years old or older and have a provisional driving licence. You must be able to read a standard number plate at a distance of 20.5 metres. This will be checked at the begining of your first lesson.




What happens if I cancel a lesson ?


I require at least 24 hours notice when cancelling a lesson. If less, the lesson fee will be payable in full. If you have prepaid, a lesson will be deducted from your bookings.
